This week at school we had Monday off and last Friday off. On Tuesday we did art and in art we are doing foam prints e have to draw a picture on foam and then carve it out. In writing we now have free write Fridays I am doing a story called “Kate and Jim” Kate is my uncle and Jim is my aunty it’s a back to front inside out story.
My week has been awesome
yesterday we had science and we got to use lasers and mirrowas to see how reflections work. Today we have inquiry reading , Maths and writing. I hope this week is FUN!!!!
This term has been awesome I made new friends and met friends I have not seen for a while. Over the holidays I will probably miss my friends but there are some that live close so I can still see them.in reading I have miss Dwyer as my teacher and I love it. In writing I miss Calderwood as my teacher and that is awesome but for maths I have the best teacher………Ms Holdsworth and she is also my homeroom teacher as well so that’s a bonus. Thank you 5/6 department for being awesome this term hope its the same next term. Well done to the year 6s who walked all the way to PORT FAIRY
On Tuesday we had art and 56h made sea creatures with hot wax we drew a sea animal went over it with wax then next week we will be painting the fabric with watery paint. Yesterday the 56s went on a walk the year 6s went further to the beach but the 5 s only walked to lakepertobe and had a play.Today (Thursday) I am here in mr gillies class writing a blog about my week and hopefully going to have a good day. 🙂
My week has been pretty good on Tuesday we had art and made Chinese lanterns and they look really good. On Wednesday we had a sports day well done to everyone who participated. Today is hopefully going to be good. Thank you Ms.Holdsworth for an awesome week.
My week has been fantastic,in writing we had written a story to share with the 1/2s.my story was about a girl named Sally and she got teased by getting called bean girl.yesterday we shared them with one twos and they loved it. My week 🙂
My week has been fabulous, I have fun with my friends and had excpeirecnced new things in needs groups, I even met up with friends from last year AND THE YEARS BEFORE!!!!!!! 😀
I hope every week is like all these past weeks. 😀
My favorite part of the zoo was the seal show because we got to learn how to train a seal named Bay and he told us his story it was sad but cute. We Learnt how to wave like bay it was very very cute funny cool and awesome.
My favorite animal is the seal and lions because seals are really cute and very smart almost like monkeys.i also like lions because they are very sneaky and devious.
I liked when we went in the butterfly house because they would land on you and they are really pretty.
Dominoe distance is a machine that Tyran and I made. We had to pull a weight up 30cm then drop down 30cm.
In our machine I pulled up the weight on a pulley and then Tyran cut the string with scissors that acted as a lever.
After that the weight dropped and then knocked down some dominoes at the end.
